Quality assurance is a key to clinical laboratory services for clinical studies. Since 2008, the Centre has been certified by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) and Accreditation Canada Diagnostics (ACD) consecutively for attaining the comprehensive accreditation requirements of ISO15189. The Clinical Laboratory Diagnostic Centre of University Hospital has thereby remained as one of the few internationally accredited medical laboratories in Macau.
